Foundations Program Questions

What is the purpose of the foundations program?

This foundations program is designed to help any individual interested in exploring their inner selves through the use of psychedelics in a safe and responsible way. We aim to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and learn skills for future practical use. This is a foundational program, participants will not be equipped to sit or guide participants in any form except for preparing and integrating their experiences.

Who can participate?

We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds and aim to support anyone along their journey of self-discovery. All participants that sign up for the experiential learning components must be 25 years of age or older and meet the criteria in our intake process. We cannot accept anyone into the program who present certain contraindications or are on specific medications.

How will the program be delivered?

The program will be delivered virtually on our interactive learning platform, which will include live sessions, pre-recorded videos, and interactive discussions. Optional in-person experiences may be offered and added at any time.

What is the time commitment?

The program content spans 40+ interactive lessons, but the delivery is self-guided allowing you to work through the program in your own time. You will have lifetime access to all video content and access to live and interactive sessions with our team throughout.

What will participants learn?

Participants will learn about the history and science of psychedelics, safe and responsible use, and techniques for self-exploration and personal growth. The program will also provide a supportive community for participants to share their experiences and insights.

Is there a screening process?

For any in-person experiences all participants will be required to complete a screening process to ensure that they are physically and mentally able to participate. All virtual programming is a simple registration form to acknowledge the use of this content, and no screening is required. Please note that some medical conditions or medications may preclude participation in any of the experiential components.

Are you required to take part in ceremony?

No, the use of psychedelics is not required for participation in the program. The program is designed to provide participants with knowledge and tools to embark on a self-exploration journey, with or without the use of psychedelics. Virtual or in-person ceremonies can be purchased as add-ons to the experience. Download our psychedelic fact sheet to learn more about our live experiences.

Who are the facilitators?

All facilitators and instructors are experts in their field and have studied this work for over 20 years combined. You can expect a deep level of respect and professionalism from all facilitators throughout the entire duration of the program.

What is the micro-accreditation?

The micro-accreditation is a competency-based assessment that is the beginning stages of an accumulation of learning to become a professional psychedelic provider. You must complete the 40+ active lessons through the program to be eligible to take the assessment.

Are there any prerequisites?

As this is a foundational level training there aren't any stiff prerequisites. We will ask you a few health-related questions as you register in order to understand your fitness for the experiential component that is included in option 2 and 3, but the goal with this program is to provide widespread access to this information as a way to increase safety and reduce harm.
