The Neuma Centre For Psychedelic Safety & Response is proud to introduce the Psychedelic First Aid™ & Preparedness Certificate, an innovative and comprehensive full-day program designed to prepare participants for a wide range of scenarios that may arise before, during and after psychedelic experiences.
This course is suitable for healthcare providers, frontline healthcare workers, emergency responders, psychedelic facilitators and anyone interested in supporting safe and responsible psychedelic experiences.

What is psychedelic first aid?
Psychedelic First Aid™ & Preparedness is a certified training program designed to equip individuals, healthcare professionals, and psychedelic facilitators with the knowledge and skills to handle safety aspects before, during, and after psychedelic experiences. The program is accredited by St. Lawrence College and covers risk assessment, managing experiences, emotional and psychological support, physical health management, and more.
What will I learn?
Participants will learn a variety of skills, including risk assessment of psychedelic substances and environments, techniques for managing different types of psychedelic experiences, providing emotional and psychological support, physical health management during experiences, and creating non-judgmental and supportive spaces. The course also covers normalization techniques to help individuals make sense of challenging experiences.
What are the benefits of being certified?
Upon completion of the course, participants will be certified in Psychedelic First Aid™ by the Neuma Centre and St. Lawrence College.
